Who we are

Joseph is one of the co-founders of Lira Financial, bringing over 12 years of banking and finance experience Having achieved both a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s Degree in business and finance at UTS Sydney, he has a profound knowledge of complex debt funding solutions to cater for every clients need. Commencing his career in corporate asset finance with Macquarie Bank, Joseph started his own brokerage business focusing on home loans and asset finance, and later developed a strong expertise across all aspects of lending including commercial lending and development finance. At Lira Financial, Joseph focuses on the day-to-day management of the business along with maintaining key client relationships. Outside of work, Joe has a passion for Rugby League and enjoys swimming at Sydney’s beaches.

Bishara is a co-founder of Lira Financial, with over 20 years of experience in property finance, development finance, acquisitions and originations. Commencing his career in mortgage broking, Bishara developed extensive leadership qualities as a business owner before moving into development finance where he specialized in highly complex structured finance solutions for major clients. At Lira Financial, Bishara utilizes his expert knowledge in the real estate and capital markets to source opportunities along with managing the strategic direction of the business. Outside of work, Bishara enjoys sports such as running and Soccer on a regular basis, he also has a newfound passion for Chess.

Ruby is a dedicated and detail-oriented Loan Analyst with several years of experience in loan origination and credit assessment. She takes a proactive approach in supporting the sales team, ensuring smooth and efficient loan application processes from start to finish.

Her expertise lies in preparing comprehensive credit proposals, analysing financial data, and managing loan applications to secure the best solutions for clients. Ruby’s keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills allow her to navigate complex financial scenarios with precision.

Passionate about delivering exceptional results, Ruby is committed to providing top-tier service, working diligently to help clients achieve their financial goals. She thrives in a fast-paced environment and continuously seeks opportunities to grow within the industry.

Outside of work, Ruby enjoys reading historical & fantasy novels, high-intensity fitness training, and constantly challenging herself both mentally and physically. Her drive, enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment make her an invaluable asset to the team.
